Chinese new year coming soon! Last week go and buy second hand Mahjong!
Last weekend nothing to do then suddenly think of playing mahjong. The house I rent in Singapore got mahjong table which had turn to become normal table for us to put our water bottle, plastic container, bread, cup and so on.
Suddenly think of buying a set of mahjong so ask my girl friend and other housemate see whether they want to play or not if I manage to get one home. They are interested to play mahjong too. Heard from my girl friend she said that she saw before people selling second hand set mahjong in second hand shop at Toa Payoh. I feel that its quite far to travel from Yishun so we decided to give it a try in the second hand shop at Ang Moh Kio there.
After reach the second hand shop which around Ang Moh Kio hub, we asked the counter person whether they got sell second hand mahjong set or not. Luckily we able to find it there and a nice auntie which is a customer there help us to choose which set of mahjong was in best condition compare to the rest. Thank to the auntie and finally we bought a second hand set of mahjong which is in pink color for its back.
Guess who much we paid for the quite new look set of mahjong? Full set with everything and a leather make case everything just cost us $8.00sgd! And divided into 4 person each person need to pay $2.00sgd only they you are able to play til bored with it. Haha. Really cheap, good and nice.
Its quite a good idea to buy from second hand shop because we seldom play mahjong maybe after play for few times then will keep it forever or maybe will never play it again. So its a wise choice to buy from second hand shop thus its cheap and wont cost you so much. You wont feel wasted if you dont want to play it anymore. Good idea right :) By the way for your information, a brand new set of mahjong price is ranging from $45-70 depends on the material that made from it.
